Association Green is led by a staff of professionals dedicated to being socially and environmentally responsible. As these times are evolving and the ways of conducting business are shifting, our staff is also evolving to take every step necessary to be as green and sustainable as possible. Our staff are members of the Green Meetings Industry Council, the leading global community for sustainability education, research, policy and standards for the meeting, incentive, conference and event industry.

Reducing Our Ecological Footprint

AG is taking several steps to reduce our impact on the environment:

We have initiated a recycling program throughout our entire building, recycling paper, glass, and plastic.
We provide reusable china and silverware for employees to use.
AG offices are cleaned with environmentally friendly products.
Computers, printers and copiers have energy-saving features and are turned off after business hours.
Electronic equipment that can no longer be utilized is recycled thru Best Buy’s Greener Together program.
Employees with window offices are encouraged to keep their fluorescent lights off and instead use natural light.
All copy and colored papers are acid-free and/or contain 30% post-consumer fiber.
Our stationery is also printed on paper containing recycled fiber, of which a minimum of 30% is post-consumer fiber, and is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
